Cool find: Banjo-Kazooie skateboard with beta logo
So I was cleaning out my parent's house the other day, and as I shifted some boxes in the basement, SHA-ZAM!
Totally forgot I had this. I got it in 1998 along with a Legend of Zelda skateboard I can't seem to find. The colors are faded from very extensive use from myself back in the day. It even has the beta logo: Some more shots of the artwork: Unfortunately, since I don't live at my parents anymore, I really don't have the space for it. It's a pretty cool item for collectors, even with the fading. Anyone want it? Best offer gets it.

$50 .
But it's really sweet, do you remember where it came from?

Is $50 your offer?
And I don't know if this department store existed anywhere other than MA, but it was called Ames. They were going out of business so they had tooooons of video game memorabilia on sale, loads of boxed game boy games too. I was just trying to find the zelda skateboard on google, but no dice. It was that Ocarina of Time promo art of Link aiming at the viewer with his bow, same style board as this B-K one. They must've been pretty cheap, because my parents bought me both at the same time, and that never happened!

Is it a long board or a regular skateboard?

Mount that thing dude. Or hang it in your wall or something.

If you're serious about this, I would suggest finding someone who could restore it. That thing could be worth real money.

Some guy probably just printed it onto some grip tape and stuck it on there.

Find out if it is legit.
If it is, that thing is worth hundreds, at least. Maybe a grand if it gets restored.

I know it's totally legit. I just can't seem to find any information on it. Like it's actually printed out onto the skateboard. I bought it at this department store Ames back in 1998, it came in a box and everything... I'll see if I can't dig up some information.

It's not that expensive, they were really cheap, and mass produced like crazy . You'd be lucky to get around $100 max, and that would be for one in perfect condition.

That must be why I'm able to find so many instances of people selling and having them!

Also, the penny boards were really cheap material, no? Like, plasticy? I'm guessing a lot of them got thrown away or broken.
