With my limited knowledge of Spanish - I haven't spoken a word of it in two years! - the proper use of "level" wasn't going to happen, so I went with "area"/"zone." Which means Mr. 3k hit the nail right on the head:

And yes, it's a Left 4 Dead mod. Zoey, the other side of a safe room door, and the UI were dead giveaways for me. To say nothing of the fact that I typed that post just after I spent two hours playing Left 4 Dead.
