100 Rings, extra life in sonic.
100 Wumpa Fruit, extra life in crash.

and so on.

I heard rumours that if you play Cloud Cucko Land before destroying the eye plants (or whatever they are called) for a Jiggy, the game crashes with Bottles Revenge Mode. Can anyone confirm this? Maybe that might of been a small factor of BR getting scrapped.

What do you mean "play" Cloud Cukooland? How long? Just wander around till somethin' happens? Be a tad bit more specific please

Basically get near those eye plants. I think Devil Bottles will try to control it, and then, from what I heard, the game crashes.

(If you play an already fully completed save file, those enemies won't appear since you killed them)

Yeah it does sadly , Ive been there myself and can confirm it.

Heres My theory, so listen up kids:

Bottles Revenge was probably an unlockable mode by doing something in the game. At the main menu, you could go to settings and there would be an extra option that would ask you if you want Bottles Revenge Mode on or off. So you could simply turn it on and start a new game, and the Devil Bottles cutscene would start automaticly and he would be with you for the rest of the game.

Maybe that's why they took out Bottle's Revenge. They didn't have enogh time to fix it, and they didn't want game crashes.

The whole BR vs. Boss thing is interesting. The idea that they'd take the time to make him leave for those particular instances is very intreguing.
Of course, then again, the idea that they programmed the sandcastle SnS codes in BK is intreguing too.

I've got a theory, but I'd need someone to explain the gameplay mechanics BR (or link to) for it to be debunked, or to live on.

-Current theory-
(I'm working off of the belief that BR is played with second player)
A secret combination on player 2,3,or 4 will unlock it at the startup screen. Try to spell out words like they made you do in Donkey Kong Country games.
