I was actually just going to say that. That's an ingenius theory you have you by the way. And you prove a very interesting point. The pipes could have merely lead into the forest. Not that the forest was sewer themed, it was just a sewer that lead through there, almost like the pipes in Banjo-Tooie.

That's what I mean. The pipes were just going to "cross paths" with the forest, like the pipes in Banjo-Tooie, and when Fungus Forest was scrapped, they just took the pipes and created an sewer level.

Perhaps I'm leading on to something here?

Is there anyway we can check the properties of that room and see if there's any text that references to Fungus Forest?

Maby, Beta Banjo had a whole different system of getting into levels. Or mabey Fungi Forest was just a huge god-damn level. Mabey they HAD big levels, but it made the game Lagg to much. Noone knows but rare.

Fungus Forest would have been too big to be used in BK.

Perhaps now, but maybe back in the beta stages of the game, they removed the large levels so that if there was a sequel they could "WOW" more people in because of the huge maps.

EDIT: Which would explain Mt. Fire Eyes, Witchyworld, and Glitter Gulch Mine being removed from the game and added to Banjo-Tooie.

I personally think that the FF music being used in early Clanker's Cavern was a coincidence. There might have been a lot of levels that used that in there early stages. And...I don't think the two have any connection.

Very well, your opinion is as good as mine.

Though, we still can't really explain why there's fungus and moss in the CCW portrait room and in the cauldron pipe...with both of them being so out of place.

I seem to remember there being moss in the actual CCW level...although I am probably wrong like I usually am. I think it was in Gnawty's House and in the room behind the door that was at the highest point you could physically climb to in that level.

I used to think that for awhile, but after I started playing the game again (about a year ago) I realized I was wrong.

It isn't moss, it's just vines and stuff.

they could very well have been using the music for alpha/beat placeholders... but still, it's more fun to think its linked and stuff

Now if Fungus Forest/Clanker's Cavern was one giant level...is it possible Mt. Fire Eyes and Gobi's Valley were too?

Think about it. Perhaps the entrance would be where it normally is but the exit from MFE would be in the lava room.

Who the hell ever said they were supposed to be in BK in first place anyway? Gimme proof!
