Viva Pinata 3 Hinted!
Hi everyone!
I'm surprised that no one posted a thread about Rare's new Season Greeting card yet. The picture came from Rare's Facebook page. I think it deserves a topic like that. Looking at the picture, I have a feeling that they will probably start working on a new Viva Pinata game a lot sooner than later. P.S. Hope the rumors regarding Banjo-Kazooie come true as well!

I'm almost certain that's not a hint, but Viva Pinata is like my favorite Rare franchise so I'm all for it

Is the mountain in the back from any specific game/franchise? I know Rare hints at stuff in Christmas cards, so it's very possible that/Horstachio and the fact there's a bunch of X1's in the sack could be relevant. The jetski and Santa suit is from the new Kinect Sports title for X1, after all.
They did have various hints of Nuts & Bolts items before that was shown as well in the past.

I think that postcard means nothing, but a new Viva Pinata game would be awesome.
As for the mountain, no idea where it came from.

It's probably the KS Rivals island, but it looks slightly different... could be a different angle maybe.

If I didn't know any better I'd say that mountain was a fancy-pancy version of Spiral Mountain...

Just backing up what others said. It may be more of a reference and less of a hint, but I'd love a new Pinata game (that I can't play because I jumped ship to the PS4
 ).

I really hope it means a new game. I'm still mad that Rare didn't do a Kinect/controller Viva Pinata game on the 360. There is a lot of potential there. Motion controlled competitions, petting and playing with Pinatas, and voice commands and motion controls to help navigate menus. Oh and the game could look super sexy and Viva Pinata cards could return.
