As many of you already know Trouble in Paradise will make use of the xbox vision camera. You can use the camera to scan cards to import pinatas and items into the game as well as other things. The question is though, will you make use of this new and exciting feature?

Depends on how much the cards cost, if it's going to cost me 20 bucks for 5 cards, there's no way in sam hill.

THE CARDS ARE FREE, YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO PAY FOR A CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was going to find the large scale font but I think thankfully that option is not available.

Cards will be released by us and generated by the community itself using the ingame tools. They have never been meant as a money making tool, just as another little something you can do in VP and so you should never find them in a shop.

Yea, i would be able to send pinata to a friend who doesnt have XBL..

But I'm not buying a $60 camara for one game :\

BIG, can you make the cards without having a camara?

I'm positive that in order to use the cards you need an xbox vision camera. As for how much the cameras cost, I'm guessing around 40 USD... though I bought one a very long time ago so I could be wrong.

B-b-but I want to give mah monies to Rare (specifically the Pinata Team) in hopes of more Pinatas and/or Ghoulies! Any chance we can pay someone to take our screenshots and turn them into real cards like how figureprints.com turns WoW characters into figures?

Because, I'm betting someone is gonna sell cards on Ebay that came out of a black & white printer.

Why pay someone when you can do it yourself? There are ingame tools that allow you to make your own cards. The way it works is that you use the normal ingame camera, as if you were taking a screenshot, but when you take it you get the option to convert it to a PV card with the main object in the picture becoming the item in the card.

So, if you want to card-up your Galagoogoo, just centre him in front of the holy bush and snow landscape you've just created for him, snap away, barcode-ify the shot, upload and then that's your picture to do with as you please.

...except for the eBay thing, we don't like that.

You'll still be able to make cards for the camera even if you don't happen to have the camera, you just want to be able to use them personally. To access them, though, you'll need to upload them to the VP website, which will require an internet connection.

They'll basically be uploaded like all the ingame screenshots you take, it's just that they'll have a barcode down one side.
