Super Smash Bros. Brawl General Discussion
Welcome! This is the thread to discuss pretty much anything and everything on the newly released Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This game has been a long time coming and has been one of the most highly anticipated games in a long time.
A couple of things to note: Firstly, spoilers are enforced. Anything that can be considered a spoiler (Subspace Emissary plot points, for example) must be contained in [spoiler] tags, like so (example, not a real spoiler  ):Spoiler: (highlight to view)
Holy **** Captain Falcon is the Ancient Minister!
Note that hidden characters do not need to be marked as spoilers seeing as they are being revealed one-by-one on the Dojo anyhow. Additionally, there are a couple of other threads (courtesy of Grey) that serve specific purposes. Use those threads for what they cover (ex. WiFi stuff), and not this one. -Smash Brothers Brawl Friend Codes and Meeting Times: Obviously, this thread is the one you need to go to to post your Friend Codes and set up and negotiate match times. -Official SSBB Records Thread: Use this for things such as your best Target Smash and Event Match times. A'ight, opening this thread because the official US release is at 12:01 AM (and some stores are selling it right now.)
Discuss away! To start things off, here's a handy tool for those of us with SD Cards who will be taking lots of screenshots: -Bin2JPG converter program -Web-based Bin2JPG converter As the name suggests, this decrypts the .bin files screenshots are saved as by the game, and extracts the picture data to a JPG. Well, my copy arrives tomorrow. I can't wait to pick it up!
...it might be a while before I contribute to this again, though, as I'll have some Wii-hunting to do.

12 hours to go. Just 12 more bloody hours to go. 10 Hours until the Gamestop Smash Bros. tournament begins. I cannot wait.

And I realised during the long gap after Mario Kart and before Brawl for my extended summer thanks to GCSE's, I'll buy Metroid Prime 3 and Phantom Hourglass which I never got round to to pass the time!
