If the key was normal but covered in ice, you could probably see the key under the ice.

Hmmm, intresting.

That does seem odd, i mean why only have an ice key, that seems oddly specific. Surely metal would make more sence, unless there are other elemental keys.

We'll never know for sure whether or not elemental keys were planned. For all we know, the ice key could have been the only 'non-egg' that existed, or it was a normal key at one point in time. In which case Rare decided to add more depth into it and make it more interesting. By that I mean using one of the four elements. I know that ice isn't one of the elements, but it counts as water. It freezes, causing what's called ice.

I really believe that everybody is becoming slightly, shall we say... ancy? I mean, we were starting to make progress and suggest proof stating there was more than one Stop & Swop key, but now some people are just making stuff up because they're bored. I'm not trying to disrespect anybody. I'm just saying what we're speculating is bordering on uselessness.

Well, that only happened when people who had never heard of the sunken ship "method" saw Runehero's post and thought it was just a joke from nowhere.

I havn't though about this until you said something. I totally agree. It would make more since to have 3 elemental keys and not just an Ice Key. If it were meant for the game to only have one, why did it have to be an Ice Key? Why not a regular key? Good inspection!

Marvelous!
