Hm...I just had a thought about SNS...

Maybe the secret eggs in Banjo-Kazooie were meant to give to Heggy.
When the idea for Stop N' Swap was scrapped, they just put the eggs hidden in Banjo-Tooie so they didn't have to remove the area.
You know, maybe the Stop N' Swap eggs in Banjo- Kazooie were meant to be used to get the Homing Eggs and the Jinjo in two-player and the secret move, and three other secrets that were probably scrapped.
Same thing with the Ice Key.
Maybe the one in Banjo-Kazooie was meant to unlock the giant Globow.
Maybe we are just over thinking SNS.
Plus, this would make sense.
Insted of SNSing the items over, they put extras in there for two reasons.
One, they still had the items in BT.
Two, if they didn't, they would have some 'splaining to do.
Discuss.

Wow. You know thats a really good theory! That would totally make sense, but would completly take all the excitment out of SNS. I think Rare may have something special planned for when, or most likely if, SNS is completly solved. I mean come on, 8 years and we still haven't found it. Its gotta be good.

I think it was meant to be much more.
Rare put in Heggy's egg and everything we get now to put them in, and we were sposta accept that.
And that's all that's in BT I think.
But when BK came out there was a lot more planned I think...

Well, seeing as they ended BK off thinking they would be able to use SNS I believe that when it hit the shelfs it had/has everything SNS intact, perhaps only accessible through a modifier that they had planned on adding in Tooie (this is common knowledge to probably everyone here )

I sometimes wonder if the reason that it didn't work out was because they implemented no way of connecting Kazooie and Tooie memory inside the system. My first thought about this is via memory card, but I think one major setback was the fact that they put Kazooie out without the capabilities to read a memory card. Even if Tooie saved SNS data to a memory card, how could one go about retriving it on a game that doesn't read memory cards ? ( Also , I think the name Stop and Swop refers to turning off the system, swapping the cartridges and turning it back on)

The second way has been mentioned numerous times, that being hotswapping ( removing one cartridge to replace it with another while the system is turned on ). I believe that Nintendo as well as Rareware both saw this as something very tricky to manage and very risky to the life of your system so they dumped it, probably because Nintendo didn't want to risk a bunch of people risking the destroying of the system just for some eggs and a key. EDIT: Also, every instruction book that comes with any N64, or N64 game all have a strict warning from Nintendo regarding removing the cartridge while the power is on. I doubt Nintendo would have let anyone release a game regarding the going against of their specific instructions

The third way which I haven't seen mentioned all too much is to have Tooie be a double cartridge ( like that of a Game Shark ) to feed data through Tooie and into Kazooie, again I think this was turned down by Nintendo due to unrelieability.

Whichever way it was planned, I think that by the time they were ready to put Tooie out they knew very well that SNS was impossible to complete so they used "Heggys Egg Shed" as a makeshift way to tie up loose ends, in this case something being better then nothing. I think that had it been completed, SNS would have involved using Kazooie to get the items, and Tooie to use them to claim your prizes .

Just another theory

Well, I know about the switching games.
I meant that you do that to get the items for Heggy's Egg Shed.
But, eh, no one has the same theories.

i thought about that two, it would be so awesome if someone would find the string of code to break the barrier between SNS.
