Well for your character I am tempted to make him periodically appear throughout the game giving sarcastic and vague excuses on how he got from where his shop was before to where it is now throughout the game. I am also still working on the game. I've just been recently swamping with digital art commissions and having trouble making time for it all. I'll try getting some more work done tomorrow and hopefully enough for a demo to be made.

PROBABLY SHOULDN'T DOUBLE POST BUT:

I have been working on this quite a bit and due to how stretched out I plan to make this project and how long it will be inbetween getting party members I thought of adding an alternative to getting allies/party members as well. I am thinking of adding a Shin Megami Tensei/Dragon Quest V sort of Monster Taming system that will allow you to go back and recruit/chance encounter some monsters that will join your party to help. The game seems a bit empty party-member wise and I don't want to rush it to make others join and thought If I put up a demo of what I have so far, *Roughly 30 minutes of Gameplay* would anyone be interested in testing to see if adding Recruitable Monsters is a good idea or not?

Also thinking of revising the term for subclasses to "Gems" being everyone has a main class and the Sub-Classes are obtained/learned/unlocked via gems you find throughout the game and would make terms and stuff a bit cleaner than a big ugly Class/Subclass like Class/Gem sorta deal.

Anyone volunteers?

Awesome. I'm uploading it to mediafire as we speak. Unforuntately with the inclusion of RTP data so you all don't NEED rpg maker vx ace to play it it's around 300MB.

I just need some feedback as to whether or not adding recruitable monsters is a good idea or not. The game feels a bit too overwhelming with enemies at times but if I cut them down it then feels too easy. Also I temporarily removed the "Enemies Level With You" script due to this problem. If I add monster party members I'll add it back in. The game would be just unfair with the script right now though. I'll add the mediafire link to the top/main post as soon as it's fully uploaded. It's like at 20-ish percent.

What? No it doesn't cost anything. I added the RTP data so you DON'T need rpg maker vx ace installed to run it.

Oh i know. That current build is outdated and has been balanced a bit. I found the problem was too many encounters with Grimlins and their stats/attacks being too overpowered. I've already balanced it and fixed it but I need to post the updated version.

Maybe later tonight if I get my shiz together.

Also gave the player starting equipment to make it a tad fairer.
