BK/BT Translation : A Step To Solve Sns ?

Hello everybody! I'm Omg from Banjo Kommando Website
I'm French and I'm a great Fan of all N64 Rare Games.
I have BT and BK games into Pal cartridge.
There are muli-language and I see that SNS and Bottles Revenge was translated into French Language...
So my question is : Why Rare translated SNS in BK and Bottles Revenge in BT?
I think that SNS exist and that Bottles Revenge Mod can be unlock without a Gameshark Code!

Could I join SFS team ?

The site has been translated very well.
It's just a shame that the articles aren't working yet.

You prove a very good point. If Bottles' Revenge wasn't meant to be unlocked without a gameshark, then why would Rare even bother to translate the sub-game into two other languages...?

And yes, you may join Team SFS.

They might have translated it before they scrapped it.

Are you implying that French/German/Spanish people dont use gamesharks. Or do Gamesharks only have English

Yeah, I agree with Vangar.
Most likely they already had translated this text by the time they finished the E3 demo.
Remember that Bottles Revenge was playable at E3.

EDIT: Hey guys, Gamesharks aren't licensed by Nintendo.
If BR was officially usable at some point then it obviously wasn't supposed to be unlocked using a Gameshark.

Who translate RARE games?
1) THQ?
2) NINTENDO?
3) RARE HIMSELF?

I think that since Conker Bad FUr Day it's THQ who translate GBA/N64 games
Before it was Nintendo.
Rare don't translate his games...

I think they hire a free lancer translator, perhaps?

And about THQ, they are just a publisher. And a quite bad one at that.
Their role is to simply distribute Rareware games to other countries.

I know that some publishers do localize/translate games, specially if it's a japanese game.
But I don't know if THQ does that.

Exactly. Think as if you were a Rare developer, and they hire a free lancer translator. They only want to pay him about 2 days worth of work, they don't want to pay him for the whole development Banjo was in. So, they would tell him all the text that they want in the game (well before its complete) and ask him to translate it. That way they have all the text ready for the game when its done.

N64 banjo Games translator and Gba Banjo Games translator aren't the same because of :
- in BK/BT CHEATO's French Name is CHEATO
- in banjo pilot : CHEATO'S French Name is TRICHY (stupid name)
