What was your reaction when you saw the SNS pictures?
My first reaction was "How the hell did they open/raise Sharkfood island, the tomb and the ice door?" And I set out to find the two eggs and the Ice Key.
First I tried to swim beneath Sharkfood but I never got far with Snacker eating me( I had no idea at the time he COULD be killed), then I trekked to Gobi's Valley to try to break the tomb open but after I exhausted all of my attacks I gave up. Next I paid Wozza a visit to try to get at his Ice Key but I gave up even faster than the other 2 and quit trying for the elusive items.(By the way this was mid '99 and nobody knew anything about the SNS items yet.) But anyway feel free to share you SNS item related experiences!

Oh man, I don't even remember. I remember when I first saw them when I beat BK 100%, mumbo said something about the next game, so I decided to wait until then to investigate. Then Stop N Swop started spreading around the internet and I was looking up the codes like no tommorow. All to find out it wouldn't work no matter what I'd do. =/

I had already heard about SNS before ever seeing Mumbo show the pictures.

When I first saw them back then I tried everything to get them.
Although nobody knew the codes for the items, it would have been possible to get the icq key ore the blue egg. |

Honestly, I never finished the game 100%, just beat Grunty . When I found out about SNS via the internet, I remember thinking it was a hack, and a really advanced one at that.

When I first saw them I was like...okay this must have something to do with a Sandcastle Code (no joke). I forgot about it for a while, and then decided to go on the internet and look up some cheats on raising Shark-Food island. To no surprise, there they were and some extras Mumbo never showed before.
That my friends, is how I stumbled onto the awesomeness that is the RareWitchProject! |

I heard about SnS years after I'd finished with BK and was pretty overjoyed, I actually haven't gone and got them physically yet, but I've heard the music and seen pictures. Actually I might go get the cheats now...

I remember I had jumped up on the ledge where the ice wall kept you from the key and I sat there staring at it trying to figure out how to get in there. After all, if you could see an object in there, why couldn't you get it?!?
Also, I remember thinking how stupid it was that there was a tiny island out in the middle of nowhere in TTC. Also, I spent hours looking for a button to open that door in Gobi's Valley. And this was all even BEFORE I saw the pictures. Then after seeing the pictures, I figured that since I had beaten the game 100 percent, it was some bonus I had to figure out and that they would open now...but damn it I was wrong!!! Then I waited patiently for Banjo Tooie - only to be immensely let down to find that you got the eggs in the stinking cartridges... |

"Neat, I'll have to try this". Then I tried it. Then I stopped caring about SNS.
