This is probably a stupid question but i didn't play DKR DS, but what is the "Tiny treatment".

This is the Tiny treatment.

But it was Nintendo's idea to redesign Tiny like that, not Rare's. SO Rare probably wouldn't do it to Tooty.

Can you prove this? DKRDS was made by Rare, so I highly doubt NINTENDO told them to do that to Tiny.

Remember, Tiny's a Nintendo character. Nintendo probably redesigned her for Barrel Blast. Since Barrel Blast was in production around the same time as DKRDS, they probably told Rare to use the new design.

Well, Paon developed Barrel Blast, right? Whether Nintendo or Paon redesigned Tiny, though, I'm just glad that it probably wasn't Rare.

i would love to see a goth or emo tooty. remember, it HAS been 12 years (....is it? oh well, i can't add) since we saw her... and a lot can change.
