Whats your opinion of a PSP Go! ?

Well all they did was get rid of UMD and add a 16gb HD. And It slides open. Thats it. No touch screen, or internal camera (you still buy it extra). Though Sony thinks they can jack up the price to $250.

I think it is pointless. I like how sleek it is but its just not worth the 250 bucks. I'd rather save an extra $50 and get a Xbox 360 Pro I just use CFW on my PSP-2001 anyway so... yea.

yeah if it wasnt 250 it would depend if there are enough great games i wanted to play on it but yeah 250 is just a stupid price.

Besides, how are people who don't have a decent internet service going to get games? Going to the library every time to use it's internet seems too inconvenient.

It looks stupid, (especially compared to the design of the normal PSP) it's not a "step up" from the previous system (it's a redesign), it's too expensive, it's download-only when the normal PSP supports both, it doesn't have a Darth Vader decal on the back which my current PSP has, AND IT STILL HAS ONLY ONE THUMB NUB.

I just use my PSP for the games and music, so I don't feel that the 'PSP Go!' is all that necessary for me. And the price is a bit extravagant for something that we can already find a cheaper substitute for.

Yea, it may be worth it if they put in a UMD Slot and another analog nub, and something new like a touch screen. (It may be ripping off the DS but the DSi ripped EVERYTHING new off of the PSP.

I like the idea of a totally digital game store, but I would have liked to see it on a major console. I won a PSP free from a McDonald's give-away by getting a winning code on a Big Mac box, and I sold it the next day. The thing is, most of the games for the PSP are crap.

I agree, the PSP is a fantastic handheld, I prefer the DS based on it's game catalog, but the PSP still has alot of great features and some fun games. Getting one for free is something I wish would happen to me.

I really hate people who say the PSP's gaming library sucks. I challenge these people to name ten games ON the god damn PSP. A lot of things get to me quickly, but those comments really grind my gears. The PSP has mounds of A+ titles, most of which have higher quality than the DS.

Nintendo DS does have all of those big names that i grew up on but the zelda games on Ds just arent my thing. Patapon 2 is the way to go

When you consider that you can get 2/3 home consoles for the PSP Go's price or less, I'd call rip-off. Hell, considering how much Sony obsesses about it at E3, let's throw the PS2 in there too. That makes 3/4 home consoles that are a better deal than the PSP Go.
