I picked up Trails in the Sky because it's been too long since I play a good old fashioned JRPG. I go out of my way to murder all the hapless creatures, but then spare some squirrel things robbing a farm because the protagonist thought they were cute. Combat system is pretty neat.

The difference is that for all of those other things, you need the XP and sepith, of course.

The first chapter of TitS FC is pretty slow, but if you're enjoying any of the character stuff, you're going to love the hell out of the game the further you get into it. Out of any JRPG I've played, Trails in the Sky is one of the most fun in terms of writing, and SC is even better so far. Estelle is easily, like, one of the most likable protagonists in any game, and she just gets better as the story progresses.

Gotta resort to replaying games in these tough economic times. A Link Between Worlds is tough on Hero Mode. Probably gonna start Fire Emblem: Awakening too. Always meant to finish it.

I tried playing Automobili Lamborghini the other day and it was just as bad as I remember. One of my favorite racing games on the N64 was Top Gear Rally because you could paint your car with any design you want. I know it's just another Cruis'n game, but Cruis'n World had my siblings and I playing it on and off for years. We even all beat the 999,999 point score in the mode where you do flips and barrel rolls and stuff to get points

You could always start doing LPs and ask for upwards of $4k from developers for playing their games on a stream.

Still plodding through Destiny. Very slowly making progress in FF14. Occasional Triforce Heroes. That game's really fun, but for some reason I rarely get the urge to play it. Ohhh

I'm picking up Wooly World today so I'm excited to try that out. When Epic Yarn came out I was still immature with that whole "Game is easy therefore it's bad" mentality. Younger me was really stupid. So I'm really looking forward to just enjoying the game for what it is

Also, Yoshi is definitely not easy if you're going for the collectables. Great game.

Fallout 4's ending was leaked, so maybe don't look at threads about the game if you care. Maybe don't highlight this spoiler either.
It's disappointing, but at least it's not ME3 disappointing.
I think I'll have to take the plunge and grab The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. Dunno why it's looking so interesting to me after the original game's been out for years and I never paid much attention. Could also be that's it's inexpensive compared to all the other games I want. Fallout 4, for example. If anyone's getting it, please let me come over

I liked how Lumiose City actually looks like shots I've seen of Paris. But walking through that damn city is impossible.

I'm reminded of something. I don't know what the hell they were thinking with the pacing between the first badge and the second. It drags on for like five hours and by the time you get to the second gym you're way over-leveled if you've been battling consistently. And then you get EXP. Share so early that it breaks the game.

I thought it was kind of cool and actually made that entire portion between Gym 1 and 2 really memorable. Like, I don't even recall any of the other gyms and the rest of the towns/cities are forgettable, but I will always remember that first batch of towns and cities due to the large gap in Gyms.
