That's the thing with the X number in any franchise, they can't do much to keep things fresh short of changing the whole thing.

I've been playing Saints Row 4. I've never played a game in the series before but let me tell you this one is a delight. Wonderful little game. Funnier than Grand Theft Auto 5. Might just be more fun to play too. Also Smash Bros. and I just got Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. I was *this* close to getting a Link amiibo.

Halo 1 and 2 I would say are pretty much unanimously considered the best, although I really did enjoy the Halo 3 campaign. The Halo 2 was somewhat tainted by the Arbiter levels, which on the OG Xbox were so incredibly confusing with every corridor looking the same. The MCC edition is really well done, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Halo 3 cut down on the repetition of the previous two games significantly. I liked its campaign the most.

Yeah, I actually remember Halo 3 being the best out of the trilogy as well, it's the only Halo game I'd really buy a PC port of at this point.

Finally finished The Wolf Among Us (I actually finished episodes 3, 4, and 5 tonight). I heard mixed reviews about the finale, but I thought it was pretty good. The series as a whole isn't as emotionally resonant as The Walking Dead, but it was still very solid, and the finale brought a surprising amount of nuance to characters who were total scumshit and had some nice moral ambiguity. (Although Bloody Mary was still pretty one-note)

Next I need to hurry up and finish The Walking Dead itself (I've still only finished episode 1 of season 2), and also start Tales From The Borderlands.

Been playing Banjo-Tooie. I think Mr. Patch is one of my favorite non-Final Boss Bosses in any game ever

I still enjoyed Halo 3 a lot. It was my first Xbox 360 game and the first FPS I ever played to completion. Even without a grasp of the context of the story I thought it was great back when i first played it and I think it still holds up today.

Halo 3 is nostalgic for me cause I played through the entire thing with my close friend from out of state, and then my gf. I definitely enjoyed that campaign more than any other Halo game to date, with ODST coming a close second.

I swear I always thought Halo 3's Legendary was too easy, but its Normal was too hard. Great game. Not quite the nostalgia that Halo 2 gave me (Not its fault) but I still pick it up and play it online from time to time, as well as play through the campaign.

I decided to try out the Monster Hunter demo that Nintendo installed on my Wii-U for some reason.

Pretty sure it's the shittiest game I've ever played for a Nintendo console, and I have no idea why people actually enjoy that game. It's extremely simple, lots of useless walking, and annoying combat and camera the game. I found nothing enjoyable in the...30 minutes or so that I played it. I was actually kind of excited to try it having seen a little bit of gameplay before from people on Youtube, but to actually play it feels like stabbing myself in the dick with red hot needles.

I wouldn't describe it as a bad game as much as I would a game that simply isn't for me. I recognize why it would be addictive and appeal to some people, but I just find it way too tedious
