I was about to make a joke about what the K in his name might stand for, and while looking up embarrassing names that start with the letter K, (Karl, clearly it would be Karl,) I just realized that in addition to the 'cruel' pun, the Rool part of his name is a corruption of rule, because he is a king.
And I feel super dumb.

I always thought the thing about his name was that K. Rool was meant to make you think of the word cruel.
I'm glad nearly all of us are of the same mind on this poll though.

Always pronounced it K. Rool myself, though thanks to watching lots and lots of the DKC TV show, Kuh Rool has kinda grown on me.
