Shoot, look's like that's an older version of Renegade! Did I accidentally put that version in the toolkit download? Here, try the latest version 1.69 from here, and see if that has it.

@Scienceman: Sure, It's good to have someone proof read over my mistake's.

Hey Rune I only just started reading the <Lesson 1-Code types, and data sizes. > and I'm already giddy with excitement and bursting with approval. In agreement with Crepusculum, please, please, do not give up on this guide! If you completed the whole thing and it really helped me learn I would gladly send you a bit of money in my support!

Keep it up!

Hey, I was having a problem with the GBA part. I got the LTTP/4S rom, but when I try to load your save state, it can't find it. Like if I have it on my desktop, it doesn't show up when I try to load it.

Hey I can't work out what to open the file with, what do I use? (I'm using a mac).
Even though I can't view the file it must be good, I mean c'mon, this is you.

Try finding another one, I had that one from a while ago and it didn't work either. I looked on one of my other 13 rom sites, hehe, and found one that was compatible with the save state. Some roms aren't compatible with some SS. (Sometimes you can fix this by simply renaming the rom so it is the same as the save state. Obviously not the file type, just the name.

I found this after searching around, not sure if it will help you, but you could give it a shot.

[3.4.14] How can I view my WinHelp files on the Apple Macintosh? Unix?

You can use QuickHelp from Altura Software (www.altura.com). QuickHelp will convert your .RTF files, .BMPs, etc and converts them into a format that is compatible with their QuickHelp interpreter. You can also use the Macintosh version of WinHelp that comes with Excel to view already made .HLP files. There is also a third party compiler available from Steve Sweet (www.sweetsteve.com) for a very reasonable price. Bristol (www.bristol.com) offers HyperHelp for Unix. HyperHelp uses your source files to compile a UNIX version of your WinHelp file. HyperHelp includes the viewer for Unix (a license fee is required for distribution).

Update time! v1.4b is out now. There are two new lessons in this version:

Changes:
-Added Lesson 7: Pointers (Incomplete)
-Added Lesson 8: The Registers

Also, thank's for the feedback guys. Yami, in the next version I will make sure I provide some instructions on changing the Rom's name to make it compatible with the save state.

How exactly do you change the ROM's name so that it is the same as the save?

It won't let me rename it by conventional means.

EDIT: Actually I guess it's not really imperative that you can load the save game, you can still add the cheats and learn the lessons quite effectively anyway.

Thanks for this btw.
