Every winter, Banjo goes into a deep lazy slumber to wait out the cold in hibernation. Kazooie meanwhile uses her rich girl trust fund money to fly south on tropical vacation, where she buys obscene amounts of drugs and alcohol, and lots and LOTS of hookers.
She runs a seasonal crime gang. The police down in those parts know her as the Scarlet Jailbird.
