But if any of you have seen the movie Hocus Pocus, you'll know that there were three witches: Winifred (Bette Midler), Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker), and Mary (Kathy Najimy). The three sister's goal was to make themselves young and beautiful forever by sucking the life out of children. A little girl, Dani is kidnapped by the witches and her older brother Max, and his friend Alison have to save her.

Sound familiar?

Winifred (red head) reminds me of Grunty, Sarah (blonde) would be Mingella, and Mary (brunette) would be Blobbelda.

Hocus Pocus was made in 1993, several years before Banjo-Kazooie, but its still pretty ironic how much they have in common.

Wizard of Oz and Wicked probably, Grunty is a parody of Elphaba (Wicked Witch of the West) and Brentilda is a parody of Glinda (The Good Witch of the North).

Nobody ever knew about Teddy Bears' Picnic? I loved that.

It's backwards because Banjo is a bear... Not afraid of hungry bears in the woods.

I think they used the song in "Open Season."
