My personal best for a 100% complete game is 8 hours, 10 minutes... I think the fastest I've heard someone finish is 5 hours. You should be able to finish the game and get all the achievements in those few days


Wow... achievements in BK... I suddenly feel the need to hook up my N64 and practice. It isn't terribly inconvenient either since my N64 is already out, just not plugged in.

but you know what's funny? we're looking forward to something we already know. the game is no different besides music and graphic quality, but everything else is the same Banjo Kazooie. lol cant wait for this!

Well, I've beaten it in 2:59, and the fastest recorded run is 2:55.

I can't wait to see if there's any huge differences from the original!

What's really depressing though, is that even with Rare's original in-house record of 15 hours..... that's still considered the length of a "casual game" today. This is only a difference of 10 years.

well, not to be a negative nancy or anything, but at most, the difference in sound will be more intense surround, which most people wont even get to experience, while the difference in video will be widescreen gameplay, because there isnt much that you can do with an image after its been created.

itll be like playing an n64 on an hd tv, which isnt as exciting as it seems, seeing as all you get is a widescreen version of dk64 or tooie.

still pumped to see it though, haha.
