I'd highly recommend it to anyone, amazing gameplay. It's really hard to put down once you start

I hope so, it should of been over at number 3, like Kojima originally said. I'm sick of that guy having such a huge ego and treating his games like blockbuster movie openings. Mostly, i'm sick of him having huge FAREWELL METAL GEAR parties, for the LAST EVER metal gear game, and then having him later say "oh, we decided to throw some more random ******** into the story and now there is a 5th game that is a prequel and a sequel, because it is in a time warp that takes place before and after everything ever, and you play as three characters who all gave snake blood transfusions and a new hip and their spirits are now inside of him and Snake is rejuvinated and there is a new crazy government profiting off of war by enslaving so and so but its not real, its just a VR training exercise to train you to be ready for a real VR exercise."

And then Kojima will smile and stand before you like the God of ******** stories that he is, and get another farewell party before announcing metal gear 6.

Haha, Sounds funny if I saw that happen. I think if they make anymore, they should just make prequels, because I don't think snake is healthy enough to do anymore sneaking around. He probably will need a hip replacement and a glass for his dentures pretty soon.

I know what you're saying, though I'm glad they made an MGS4. The fourth summarized alot and answered alot of the questions left from the 2nd game. It seemed to me that they were trying to summarize and finish everything in the 4th.

Yeah, no joke, I love metal gear, and 4 was a fantastic game, but I think the story is given more credit than it deserves, its just a bunch of confusing-for-the-sake-of-confusing, back-asswards nonsense. It started off feasible, then slowly, like your standard episode of South Park, it fell into a state of absolute rediculousness, except, unlike south park, it's trying to pass it off as dramatic and serious.

Well, I've only played the first one on the psx so I really don't know but plot-based games must end at some point (I loved the phoenix wright triology because of this), I think that now kojima may continue the brand using a new protagonist or setting the game in another universe (?).

Yeah, I think that if they do decide to continue the franchise, it would have to be with a different protagonist due to Snake's condition, Possibly Jack? (Raiden)

Setting the game in another universe wouldnt work, though they could always try a prequel

I wouldn't say no to remakes of the MSX games tho (although I heard MGS was essentially a remake of MG2: SS anyway...which was remade into TTS ).

Snake's not only rapidly aging due to the fact that he's a clone, but the foxdie's slowly..i mean rapidly killing him. He literally has about six months to live by the end of the 4th game. If they plan to make a 5th then it would have to be about someone else, possibly Jack, since he still lives with a new set of arms at the end of the story. I couldnt imagine a plot for the new one though, as everything sums up by the end of the 4th. Liquid finally dies so they can't have him. The System is pretty much destroyed. Vamp's dead. The new BB corps were completely destoryed. What else can they do?
