Rare Christmas Card 2008 Hint?
Let me express my apologies to everyone if this theory has already been mentioned or seems very far-fetched, but my urge for Rare to make a Platforming Banjo game has gotten to me, thus showing me two things in the christmas card.
When I went over the card today I noticed two things, they most likely are just meant to be there for the whole comedic feel, atleast for one of them, but who knows right? The first thing I noticed was that Kazooie was not holding her wrench. The card was released after N&B was released and after they became aware of the discontent coming from the fanbase. This could mean that they are hinting at the next Banjo game, without the wrench. But, as for the disproval of this: It could just be that the wrench would feel out of place in the christmas-like feel of the card. The second thing I noticed seems far-fetched even for the person who found it. I noticed that Mumbo was playing the role of Santa flying in the air using vehicle parts. Now this usually would not mean anything, however, what I briefly put into my mind was the fact that he would be flying away. By flying away, he would be taking his vehicle with him, perhaps ending the vehicle turn which Rare choose to take with the Banjo Franchise. My apologies for actually discussing the Christmas Card in March, but I felt I had to post this. Oh, and yes I do consider this to be extremely far-fetched, but with Rare you never know ![]() Any opinions on this, whether it be positive or negative, will be appreciated. Thanks in advance and if you actually read that entire post, well done! ![]() ![]() |

That's cool and all, and I would have never noticed... But... I think it is a little too far fetched, but not with kazooie. The mumbo thing is the one that I felt wasn't there to mean anything. The wrench things would seem more probable.

You can find it on this very site, just go under News and go back to December 11th I believe.
Here: http://www.rarewitchproject.com/?action=news&p=2 It's at the very bottom of the page. |

Grunty is a snowman, maybe this means she is going to "evaporate from the series" in spring?
haha, just kidding. I don't think Rare put much thought into this, and if they were to use it for symbols, I think they would've been more blatent and talked about. |

The return of Platforming and the abandonment of Vehicles. It's far-fetched but worth a shot. |

I don't ever remember a 2008 Christmas Card...
![]() It doesn't seem very far-fetched to me. There's no vehicle parts at all except for Mumbo, where he carries various items, and it seems like everyone is completely ignoring Mumbo, even though he's suppose to be fitting the part of Santa, whom you would be looking at instead of a big shiny R letter in the sky, ![]() Also, next game: Grunty will be a snow...witch? lol |

It kinda does make sense.
Rare's '07 Christmas Card was very symbolic.

But Mumbo is flying towards the Rare logo. o_O
Just kidding. But would someone mind telling me who the two people standing between Banjo and the Pinata are? Or are the just supposed to be random people?
