Use for Aerial: FOUND. Nothing special though...

It gives you tips for the following Grunty challenge while your in the Act. I tested without the Aerial, and there were none. If you take a vehicle with the Aerial attached to it into a Grunty act, you randomly get tips from Grunty while flying around. Note, this is NOT in the challenge, but in the Act. as far as I can tell, it only works in both Jiggoseum acts and the Terrarium's. When I tested it other places it didn't work. They're actually quite useful tips, as they help give you a strategy for the battle (I beat the Terrarium act easily because of these.) She gives 3-4 tips and often repeats them.

What does she say? The only act that gave me trouble was in nutty acres. Every other one was fresihisly easy.

Especially Terrarium

I sent a message to the tepid seat about the aerial. I wonder if they can give us more info.

That's pretty cool though.

She just gives random tips, I mean, the terrarium one WAS pretty easy, I just got a very fast time on it, while offline though . She, for example, said something like "I'll stick to my path, not out of line, without that info the bear won't shine." Since she darts around to the same spots each time. It's sort of helpful the first time around.

And I'm sure that they'll answer in the tepid seat with the same explanation. But I'm kind of hoping it does something else, since it was the only real mystery in N&B. Probably doesn't though. I guess the use IS pretty difficult to figure out, unless ALL of your vehicles have aerials... like mine. Just in case y'know?

OH! That's what those messages meant! I remember reading something like that in the demo strings awhile back, and was wondering how they were accessed. The Spiral Mountain one, though, I'm not sure if she'll give hints on every vehicle or not... I remember seeing messages for each one, but there's not any time between each fight to fly around, so... I'll have to test...

Well hey, mumbo says "Bear sometimes hear things when this attached..." do you think you'd figure it out just like that? I only recently started attaching aerials to everything....

And Zondekel, I've never had her say anything in spiral mountain, and I've spent hours in there, just flying around with my spy copter, I guess your just lucky
Also, she probably cycles through the tips for each challenge.

I just tried lastnight- all the tips she gives are WITHIN the actual challenge. Like, I was going through the Grunty Final Fight, and then during the pirate ship one, she comments about how it's such a large ship and you shouldn't target her floaters.
The Spring Fever one in BanjoLand, I was going through the fight, and she comments about how as long as there's flat space to land, she'll be fine, and then another about not to try to tip her over. And then I think she insulted me, too... Usually, without the Aerial, she has two comments; one is that she'll crush Banjo flat and wear Kazooie as a novelty hat, the other is to come back and fight, as she spent all night building the thing.

Bottom line- you only get those hints WITHIN the challenge, and not within the level before the challenge.

As for the messages not in the challenge, I've gotten one in the Jiggoseum, but that was without the Aerial. I don't think there was anything special behind it- it wasn't really a hint...

You can also use the aerial to find Jinjos.

Equip it on your vehicle in a game world, and the Jinjos will appear on your map.

No Twi, thats the spec-o-spy. Looks like Bottles' head.

That kind of makes the aerial useless doesn't it? :\

Well... no, it gives you tips for the Grunty challenge.

And thanks for that Zondekel, I guess other levels probably have them inside the challenges aswell.

I tested both Jiggoseum challenges (Though most of the hints she'll tell you she'll also tell you before the fight), the Nutty Acres one, and the Banjoland one. I'm going to test the LOGBox and Terrarium, but from what I understand, the Terrarium ones are like the Jiggoseum ones- she says them before the challenge, too.

Ah, that's pretty cool. I'll still never use it though.

No. I rarely use the Spec-O-Spy part, whenever I have a vehicle with the Aerial equipped, Jinjos show up.

The Spec-O-Spy doesn't pinpoint an exact location. It's just a roaming camera.

I suppose you could find Jinjos with it, it'd just be a pain though. :/

I've used Spec-o-spy to pinpoint Jinjos on the radar.

Maybe they both do it, as extra features.
