Been playing quite a bit of Multiversus. I'm definitely liking Taz in this Alpha so far, although he feels... a little OP compared to some of the cast, especially the ones on the slower end or without any way to interrupt his tornado easily.

The new Pac-man Museum is pretty neat. It's missing Ms. Pac-Man (because reasons) but the rest of it pretty top notch.

I've been playing Tower Unite some more recently and just purchased one of every item in the game. I'm almost at 300 hours and most of that is playing virtual slots at the casino. VERY VERY nice timesink

i've fallen down the ffxiv hole hard. i legitimately would give it like. the hugest rec if what you like about final fantasy is close-knit party dynamics and cool character writing. arr is kinda just an alright little fantasy story but by the time you hit the patch quests it starts doing some genuinely crazy stuff and i've had a blast the whole way through into shadowbringers and like. some of the mechanics they introduce in shadowbringers literally just like. let you approach dungeons like a regular party-based ff game. like they introduce a feature where you can just do dungeons with ai party members according to whoever you have with you at that point in time. and they all get unique dialog and are programmed to approach dungeon and boss mechanics in unique ways. it's awesome

if what killed your playing through arr was stuff like the company of heroes and the corrupted crystals, there is nothing like that post-arr

friend gifted me sonic origins around when it came out so i got to play that. wouldn't recommend it. the ports aren't low effort but it's clearly kinda rushed and buggy and sonic 3 & knuckles' port really sticks out compared to angel island revisited, much less about it is enhanced compared to the others and the audio quality, not the music tracks but like all the game audio in general, sounds really bad. kinda sad that headcannon's reputation among fans still didn't save them from getting treated the way they were by sega

I've been further decorating my little virtual house in Tower Unite and it's been a very fun way to pass the time, specially as I've been sick over the last few days.

I also want to hop back into Elden Ring as I never really even got passed the first boss due to school but for some reason am having trouble wanting to do it. I think my brain just wants to do something easy right now so maybe I'll try for some more Stardew instead.

OH and I finally beat Slay the Spire for the first time a few weeks ago with the Ironclad class. I can't believe it sucked me in like it did but it's crazy fun.

Been playing a lot of Multiversus - definitely think my mains so far are Garnet and Steven, but destroying people online with any of the mages/Superman still feels pretty good (until we get ranked and I get matched with people who are not probably children). I hope we get the Animaniacs, as that's my classic childhood cartoon.

It's a real shame Nickelodeon didn't give All Star Brawl the budget and f2p like this game, as that game is the closest to Melee you're ever gonna get. There's millions of people playing this compared to Nick's - where if you're lucky, 2 people are online on a single platform at a time. Such a shame there was no crossplay at the start, as it wouldn't have immediately died. Even with Hugh Neutron releasing just the other day I still couldn't find a single match online .

Also really enjoying Multiversus. My mains are Shaggy and Velma because obvs but I really like all of the characters they have (my roommate and I love to complain about Finn spam) I've also been having some fun with Steven tho and I really want to get good with Tom and Jerry.
