I'm with Banjokun here, not on the listening to fans part as probably most of them are excited about this game, but I agree that the game looks really empty in what was shown.
And I know its a trailer, but knowing nintendo that's exactly how the final product will be. Empty fields with some hearts to collect (the promised 100+ shrines to complete being at least something positive) and ps2 graphics (ok, hd ps2 remaster graphics, I'll concede). People will play the art style card here I'm sure but my opinion stands.

I was really hoping to be captivated by the gameplay reveal and feel again the charm I had felt with games generations past but all I could see was emptiness with some basic novelties that have actually been standard for years now in many other games. I hope that it turns awesome and proves me wrong though, it would be the perfect excuse to get a wiiu or nx.

Edit: looking at it a couple more times it seems that you'll be able to visit locations from past games but in the future, like the temple of time from ocarina, or eldin bridge from tp. Having recognizable places to explore from the past would certainly make things more interesting for me.

You know that things that is currently being ignored by Nintendo since last year's E3.

That thing that could've save a bunch of pointless internet movements going on right now, mainly Torrential Downpour.

Clearly they haven't learned the mistakes from last year's E3 among other things and have surprise surprise repeated last year's craptacular crap puppet show that was the Nintendo Digital Event With Star Fox Zero Originality, Tri-Farce Heroes, Federation Force-Fed Garbage, and of course Persona Emblem M@ster 4Kids edition (but I don't care about the censorship of that, because its terrible in concept and quality.)

Why even bother going to E3 when your going to make the same mistake twice, which is not bringing your A-game and instead bringing your F-game and embarrassing yourself when everyone else brought their A-game even the crappy game companies look better when compared side by side with those who didn't bring their A-game.

You're deranged if you think the game looks like it has "PS2 graphics". It just... doesn't. That's just plain to see. Also, besides the three minute trailer there are hours of footage for you to look at to inform your opinion a bit more.

With regards to fan input... are we not getting a gigantic open-world Zelda game, the kind that fans have been asking for for like a decade?

I really don't need to explain anything to you because I expect people to get it the first time around or even have the time to look it up, which by the way is not that hard to do.

My point is that you do the posting equivalent of buzzwords. Your posts come off as blindingly angry about video games, but I've yet to see you actually try to back up what you say. I liked what I saw out of the new Zelda, and if you didn't, that's fine, but you talk as if the end times are here.
