I just bought a Super NT, which I still argue is kind of ridiculously expensive for an HD SNES, but it's a sturdy and high quality machine. I've been using it to play a Japanese copy of Kirby Super Star. Why Japanese, you ask? Because it was cheaper. Yes, I see the irony.

Hope this helped.

I've been playing Yakuza 0. It's about an 80's video game man who can see real life porn stars from the future.

playing american wasteland on gcn
i've played it a couple times on xbox, but never got far due to disc read errors

it's really, really fun - maybe my favorite game in the series without a Pro Skater suffix

the classic mode is great too, they did great justice to older levels

Today I played:
  • After Burner II (Saturn)
  • Vanguard (Atari 2600)
  • Sorcerer's Apprentice (Atari 2600)
  • Tetris (NES)
  • F-Zero X (N64)
  • Beetle Adventure Racing (N64)
  • Decap Attack (Genesis)
  • Taiko Drum Master (PS2)
  • Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast)
at a local library, where they have this multi-gen arcade event every few months.

I got the true ending in Smash Bros. Ultimate's Adventure mode finally. I ended with 99.67% completion though, so I'm gonna have to jump back in there and finish the fight.

On the whole, I'd say World of Light is cool. It's basically the Events mode from previous games with a new skin. There were a lot of tough fights, but it feels rewarding to win.

Disney's 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue (PS1, 2000)

frankie muniz's dog fursona yips through one dozen spyro-inspired platform maps, with the help of crystal dynamics and/or toys for bob?

i dunno what the difference is, but there's a lot in this game that feels incredibly gex

i mean this with zero irony - this is a fun game that is well-designed enough that you'll usually forget you're playing a licensed game. i can't vouch how accurate it is to the movie, but who cares

---

Silent Hill (PS1, 1999)

yooo this game is amazing, i actually might like it more than i remember liking sh2, and maybe any other horror game i've played. dunno why i never tried it until now, but it's been fun playing with nills since she's a huge fan of the series :3

---

Pro Evolution Soccer 4 (PS2, 2004)

been playing a bunch lately, thank you again danny for alerting me how good this game was

---

Yu-Gi-Oh! WC 2011: Over The Nexus (DS, 2011)

Another Konami game.

Had fun beating newbies online with Piranha Plant last night in Smash. Glad I didn't do classic or All-Star, or I'd have lost my save file to corruption... He's definitely in my top 5 favourite to play so far, and it feels pretty odd liking so many heavy weight characters this game.

Oh, and Puff got some nice buffs (as did most of the cast). She can gimp some characters so easy.

Been playing Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends back to back and having a pretty darn good time. Also just a few minutes ago I did the thing in Apex so that's pretty fun. (I'm the lifeline)

I'm replaying Breath of the Wild, perhaps due to cultural influence by a certain internet celebrity. Doing a no climbing run this time, and I like the little extra touch of lateral thinking required when I come up against a wall and need to think of ways around it. I think the game is still very fun and it works well with self imposed challenges like this.
