SNS update: I think I know which 4 of the 6 eggs we are supposed to get

I reckon, BTW, that you have to do this BEFORE you collect the ice key
bear in mind that this theory could be completely wrong; I'd try it myself if my EQ wasnt broken, thus stopping me from deleting the 6 eggs I already have.
In GTBG, they say "collect 4 eggs". I, as one of the few people who still thinks the SnS activator may be in BK, played right through the game on Saturday, and I think I now know which eggs need to be collected. Unfortunatly I stupidly collected the ice key first, and like I said, I now cant delete it. But I reckon we might find out some stuff if we follow the directions from ghoulies.

The eggs are as follows:
pink
blue
yellow
cyan/green

I am unsure about whether you need the cyan or the green egg, but I'm fairly sure it's cyan.

Now, how I came to these conclusions:
I noticed that after collecting the ice key, all the other eggs left in the game dropped in speed (of rotation), by more than half the original speed. I reckon this was because they were now useless. If you look at the SnS screen, you will find that the red egg spins much slower than the others, so I ruled that one out. The pink, yellow, and blue eggs spin at normal speed, and anyway I knew we had to collect those ones because the blue and pink were shown in mumbos video, and the yellow in fact spins faster than any of the others.
That leave cyan and green. Since they are not right beside eachother in the SnS screen, it's almost impossible to tell how fast they are spinning, so I was hoping someone could verify which of them is faster. I think it's the green, but can't be sure.

So here's what I need someone to do:
firstly, if you've already got the eggs and key, enter this code with a cheat cart to get rid of them:
PAL: 81283220 0000
NTSC: Coming soon

Then, do the following
1: get rid of that code (you will NOT be able to enter sandcastle codes for the secrets with that code on)
2: play through the game, and collect the 4 eggs listed above (hopefully we'll first find out whether it's the cyan/green egg, before anyone tries this)
3: Get the ice key
4: See if anything's changed.

This may lead to nothing, but It's worth a try...

EDIT: We need to get the Ice key first, THEN the eggs. I meant to add that ages ago when we found out.

If this was true I'd be willing to bet that it's the cyan (the one you find in the celler of MMM because the wine barrels in Ghoulies has the same number on them as the ones in BK... I noticed that while I was playing it.

Interesting theory you have there. I'd try it if I had an Action Replay or Gameshark.

I always wondered why there were two eggs in Mad Monster Mansion...

I was right in thinking that SNS might have a slim chance of survival...maybe THAT'S what legally unlocks Bottles' Revenge...

P.S.: What's a "GQ"?

You mean EQ >_>
It's a version of the action replay pro for the UK. Same, but without the PC connection.

I wish I had my Nintendo 64 and Banjo games still. I would have done this myself if I had.

I always wondered why there were 2 eggs in MMM also.

Surely there is something in BK that was activated/would link to BT.

Yes, I've always felt there should be a trigger in BK, even if the rest of it was removed in BT
otherwise rare have been lying since before BK came out...

Yes, that is what I think.

It is still the "tell us what the eggS and key are for", spoken by Kazooie after seeing ONE egg and the ice key, that bothers me. Genuine mistake? Or was there more to the ending of BK...?

Yeah
Also, we should start making a list of things which change after u get the SnS stuff
for example: The X for sharkfood island, on the TTC map in RBB, changes from red to black after getting the egg. That is quite bizarre, seeing as most people wouldnt notice it...

Are you certain that the X changes colour?

This is quite compelling patrick, it does make a lot of sense with everything we know so far. One thing that bothers me though is the fact that if your theory is correct then it seems as though the other 2 eggs aren't really needed, and if that's true then why include them in the game?

Maybe the 4 eggs and key open something in one game and the other 2 open something in the other.

The 4 eggs and key i think would do something in Tooie and the other 2 in BK.... 10 extra jiggies in BT? OR 8 Extra jiggies in BK transfering the 10 left over to BT and unlocking Bottle's Revenge.... Really not many people know what it'd have done.

SnS is a mystery that may or may not be solved. But I must admit it is fun hoping that it will be solved. I'd help out with this experiment but i'd need the NTSC code and a AR for the N64.

The yellow egg is probably one required - BK speaks after collecting that, so that would make sense.
