Alright, I theorize the reason that Tiptup isn't quite seen in nuts and bolts is....

Because maybe Nintendo still has the rights to him? Tiptup was still in the DS version of DKR, while Conker and Banjo were removed. Tiptup's still a legitimate banjo character though, so it seems odd that he'd not be removed. But then why would nintendo want rights to Tiptup? Maybe he's got his own game coming out? Or perhaps they felt that Tip was such a popular character in DKR that it wouldn't succeed without him?

Rare stated in Scribes that they own all of the DKR characters barring Diddy, Krunch, and Tricky.

Everyone else belongs to Rare. Not to mention that Tiptup remains intact in Banjo-Kazooie XBLA.

Well, it's the DS. They're still allowed to make games for it. Just not the wii or anything. I'm just wondering if there would be a reason to keep tiptup in there. He's an alleged banjo character, so why would he be left in?
