Gecko OS works on most games, I forget if they ever fixed it for WiiMotion+ games. If it wasn't fixed for WiiMotion+, use NeoGamma as an alternative.

If the game doesn't load properly, try going to Wii settings (in NeoGamma) and select to load an Alternate .DOL from Disc+. Then select player.dol when the loader asks you. That is, if it's a Wii Motion + game.

I never had to do that when I used Neo Gamma for Red Steel 2.

Guys, you can just use priiloader to disable the disc updates. It's a preloader not a backup loader so you can launch your games using the disc channel like normal. The only reason to use a backup loader is if you are really using a backup.

True, however, the Preloader could be dangerous if he doesn't know what he's doing. and a backup loader would be suffice because it just requires the file on his HBC. It's not really necessary to use backup loader, true, but it IS a solution and he's free to choose one.

Priiloader isn't as dangerous now as it was back in earlier versions. The warning existed because you used to have to patch a cIOS to run it, that isn't necessary for 4.3. Some people would also turn on hacks that temporarily lock the Wii and fail to understand that's why it won't turn on.
As long as he follows my instructions when installing it, he shouldn't have any problems.
