A tiny little theory (with nothing to do with SNS)

This door right here behind the entrance plate to MMM.

Ever since I first got the game, I always thought that this gate had SOMETHING to do with the game. I always used to think, as a little kid, that it led to a secret area once you secretly unlocked it. Nowadays, I still see it as something. Maybe a possible original entrance to MMM? Such as, you'd walk in from there, before the entrance plates were created, which led me to this;

Look at early beta shots to BK. As far as I know, there are no entrance (warp) plates. Does this mean that Rare might have had a different way of entering and exiting levels, like actual doors or gates, like in 'Tooie'?

Just a theory.

Mario 64 has no entrance pads either, the level starts and you just fall in there.
Maybe in the Beta version you'd start a level like this, and then you'd exit through that removed option from the pause menu.

Possibly because it blended with the scenery?

What I am suggesting is that there was no gate there, and that you walked in from the MMM entrance from the Lair and walked in and out from where that gate was.

Grunty owns the mansion,and she would need a way to get in.She'd be too fat to use the warp pads,like the daddy T-rex in Terrydactyland.And she doesn't allways have her broom.

She might be a little thinner then you think, you know.
Still, your right about the warp pads.
