all of my data has been ereased including stop n swop?!?!?!
ok, ive decided to play banjo kazooie agian, and something really wierd happened. i went on banjo kazooie with gameshark, and turned code generator on, and to my suprise all of my saved games were ereased. so i started a new game and went to look at the sns menu, and it isnt there!!! so i turned off the game and turned it back on agian with gameshark and with the code generator on and to my suprise all my data was restored! what the hell just happened?!?!

You were using a gs, it ran code that deleted your stuff. Don't use GS.

Try reading the whole thing, totokan.
What might have happened is the gameshark closed acess to the save battery temporarily, and because the game was still running, it wasn't reconnected. But that's just a wild guess. |

This can happen WITHOUT a Game Shark.

Yeah, it happened to me with Super Mario 64 and I didn't have a GameShark.

Was it a long time you did not played at it? Because it can happens when you don't play with a game for long time. I got 2 ballons in bonus in DKR and I finish of 49 ballons with that method.

ya, one time while playing didy kong racing i went into the select world thing, and all the space levels were unlocked, and i didnt even unlock them yet!

One time before Mario Kart DS came out I decided to play the N64 version and everything had been deleted. I only ever had an AR once and it broke years ago so that had nothing to do with it. Well next time I turned the game on all the saves were back.

I think I can shed some light. Perhaps Nintendo put a fail-safe in their N-64 carts. The batteries in the cartrage might run on low power if they aren't used in a long time. Not enough to run on, but enough to save the memory.
