Deleting the Ice Key & Eggs

Hey hey

The recent Devil Bottles code has inspired me to play through the whole of Banjo Kazooie & Tooie once more, in honour of such a great discovery I do, however, have a slight problem. My Banjo Kazooie cart already has the Stop N Swop screen enablled with all the items present. Is there any way I can delete them, or trick the game into 'forgetting' I ever had them? I just want to be able to acquire them once more I know it's a long shot but I figured this would be the best place to ask....

Oh, I'm from the UK too, so if there's an AR code could you please give me the PAL version? Cheers!

Welcome aboard! Hope you stay with us. Anyways, I believe this is the PAL AR code to knock off those secrets. This was a pretty common problem back in the day, and lets just say I got in trouble once for unauthorized adding of the ice key.

Cheers It worked a treat. I've been a long time lurker here and it's only now that I need something that I've bothered posting somethig. Typical eh? But still I shall do my best to post- even if I request codes too much.

Speaking of which, I vaguely remember seeing a code for Banjo Tooie which enabled the player to view the options available for play at E3, before BT was released. Am I correct, or just imagining things again...?

(Note how that wasn't an actual request for a code(s). It was merely implied )

It's the menu cheat available in Code/Dev. You need to know what you're doing though, as you have to go to the main menu, search for the VCR, digit, replace it, and then go to VCR.

I was lucky enough to see said menus in operation at ECTS. Which reminds me, I wanted to have another look to see if they left in the rareware logo that was spinning in the bottom right of the screen.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone I beat BK (for about the fourth, maybe fifth) time yesterday and started on BT today. I can see why Devil Bottles might have been taken out. Other than possibly offending religious types, he makes the game considerably easier. Basically no enemy will attack you, because it's very rare to have two on screen next to each other at the same time.

Actually it was my sisters! And she was quite unhappy about it, and I had been expressly warned not to get the ice key...but alas...I didn't realize it couldn't be erased.

heh
Yeah something similar happened to me
I used that code was actually released ages before the sandcastle ones were found, but the original version was to HAVE all the secrets, 81283220 FFFF.
I used that, but it gave me all the secrets, when what I was really looking for was a code to just activate them, because I wanted to collect them myself (to see if anything happened).
I then spoent ages trying to get rid of them, because I thought if I set it to 0000 it probably would go back to having them all if I turned off the n64 (like most GS codes)
Of course, eventually my EQ did one of those bizarre "memory wipes" as I call them, where for no reason, you start banjo and all your saves have been cleared...

eh
it gets rid of the memory, yeah, but it can also get rid of your n64's functionality
to clarify: doing that can seriously **** up your n64/game/cheat cart / all of the above >_>
