I has a challenge for you all.

Here is what I want you to do:
1.Play Banjo-Kazooie up until the final battle with Grunty
2.Try and get as many honeycomb pieces as possible
3.Do not get the red health bar
4.Record the ensuing battle with Grunty and win.

Basically, I want to see who can beat Grunty with only 8 (I think that's the most you can get) honeycomb pieces, no cheats.

I've almost done this myself and won, I was on the last hole of the Jinjonator. Not an easy thing to do.

Also, bonus challenge!
Beat Grunty in Banjo-Tooie with the given health using the replay boss thing, no cheats. Record it.

Ive done both of them, except in BK, i only got like 2 extra honey combs, and it took me like 9 trys DX

i have 7 heath and i got to the last whole of the jinjonator (the really dark one). And i didnt thinkk it was open and i ran out of gold feathers and got hit by the magne beam thing, i didnt realize it was open until i shot 2 into it and died. i was sad.

I won the Grunty battle with only 6 honeycombs the first time...
But I've never beaten Hag 1 without the recovering energy thing

I'm going to do this.

Get red honeycombs (because I'm going to cheat to get there), but turn off the infinite health cheat, so if all honey turns yellow I loose

I give up, I lost 6 health after trying 5 times >.<

I give up again.

Audio and video get out of sync at the end >.<

Anyone want to try a save state with only 1 honeycomb piece? I could probably make that cheat if anyone wants to test their true skills.

I like to upload my videos in advance in case something comes up. A whole year in advance.

The other 'challenge' is rather easy too, but I'm yet to have gotten to the end of the game and not gotten the red energy expansion, even if I don't lose more than a couple honeycombs of energy per fight these days anyway.

http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=mg-73191Osw - that's a video of me beating her in under 5 minutes that I uploaded a while ago. It isn't that fast since there's a few extra tricks you can use to conserve energy and gold feathers, but I don't think I use up 8 honeycombs either way.




Rune: Yeah, I could probably do that, but I wouldn't be able to record properly. I prefer the actual controller to the one I use with the PC, but I suppose it doesn't matter too much.

I enjoyed the challenge of doing it without the extra health. I didn't get all the honeycombs either. I don't have a video though.

I did this the first time I ever finished the game if you can believe it. I didn't have all the Jiggies, so I didn't get the Red Honeycombs. I thought the end battle was unusually hard until I later found out. :o I enjoyed the extra challenge though!

I've beaten Grunty with the minimum amount of honeycomb pieces and HAG 1 from Banjo-Tooie's Replay mode. However, I haven't recorded either
