According to this, you have to get the Ice Key first

I loaded my rom and entered the pink egg code, the island rose, i checked for the SNS screen, it wasnt there, then i collected the egg, i checked the screen and only the pink egg was shown, no ice key.

It might be a glitch, but it happened to me, too. I have two copies, and I know both of them are unused except by me. It happens. We just need to figure out the conditions to make it happen and why it happens. Soulreaver, could you think of anything irregular about that file (didn't beat it, 100%, etc.?)

Not a good way to start of Soulreaper you just called a member who is more then likely correct an idiot. The other thing is the ice key appeared on your SNS screen without you collecting it there's nothing all to specail about that because as you can see other people have tested this and it didn't work therfore it is either a glitch or bullsh!t. That easy.

ATTENTION PEOPLES! My parents bought it from a store that doesnt sell pre owned games, like a walmart. what Im saying is I know for a fact that it is NOT preowned, so please do not tell me that it isnt my game. YOU ALL wouldnt not know. so when I say its mine, it is mine. And besides that it had all the security stuff on it when I opened it. Please dont tell me I dont know, I am capable of thinking for my self. I dont know why it did it on my game. Sorry to call you an idiot ??? but I state that I knew it hadnt been unlocked before, therefore no one had played it.

I just remembered that earlier in the day when I used the codes, I HAD gone to FP and looked at the Ice Key and it WAS in there. So......... yeah. Then I entered the codes, got the pink egg and when I went to look at it in the item screen the Ice Key was already there........maybe the game remembered that I had been to FP earlier while playing it for some reason.........

Anyway, why does the glitch only ever sometimes happen and not every time? Do you have to have seen the Ice Key before it will work?

ill test on the rom, see key, use pink code, check for screen, get egg then check screen again.

Edit: No reasults, no ice key present after seeing it first.
