Portraits Beta?
Check out these to portraits. These were ripped from a rom with the Rice video Plugin. They then were put back together since they come in pieces.
Look at the Mumbo huts. There the Beta skull. Did Rare just forget about this or did they thik that no one would notice.

They are. I ripped them from the rom, and I noticed Mumbo's Hut is Beta in them.

mumbo hut is beta only in freezeezy peak picture, I don't see what's wrong with the first one

If you look closely on the CCW one, you can see its a little different but its very hard to notice.
 Other than that, is there any reason why you brought this up?

It seems odd that they changed it for the port. The click clock woods one I realized isn't beta though, It is in the Nintendo Guide though.
"It just makes me wonder why they would have changed it if they had had it already in 3 levels. I personally think the beta skull looks cooler but that's just me."

The new two are from XBLA and the firt ones are from N64. Forget about the Click Clock Woods one, it doesn't have a beta skull. But look at Freezy peak. Also if you have the Nintendo guides, check both of the worlds headings for the Beta skull.

I've download the Banjo-Kazooie's textures to have the 9 portraits but they are in there XBLA version. Can someone extracts the 9 portraits from the N64 version ? It would be cool to have these portraits in there original form and in the original definition, just like with the XBLA.

Also, while this is bumped the pictures from the stradegy guides are the level preview pictures in the instruction booklet.

If you ask me, the newer pictures appear differrent because they have higher resolution, but the older freezeezy peak one appears to be a beta skull, because freezeezy peak is cold, giving the skull a greyish color because of the cold, in actually it only appears as a beta skull but isnt. thats my take, just throwin it out there
