Does this have anything to do eith sns
When you look at your Nintendo 64 look under it and there is like a thing where you could shove in a cartridge in there could this have been the key between stop and stop.
And if i am wrong could some one please tell me what it is for? I think i put in a image of it. |

That's the 64DD port. You attach another drive which can accept disks. These disks (from what I know), can modify an existing game or be a whole new game. Although SnS could have in theory been done this way, I highly doubt it ever was.
Someone will come along and explain it better then me though.

Well i read on wikipedia that BT was supposed to come out on the DD, but was a commercial failure, i saw it on 64DD article, and btw, the N64 Dynamic Drive is a CD expansion kit sold with a RANDnet subscription and with it, you could expand games like FZero (create tracks, add new cups) or an entire new game (Sims 64) andvery few games made it, and it was only sold on japan, i think you could chat with it, it is expensive now if you can find one.

THe bottom port is just an expansion port (Allowing more things like the 64DD as mentioned above and homebrew kits and stuff). The 64DD was only released in Japan and didn't do so well. BT was going to come out on the 'DD but as stated before, the 'DD didn't do well at all and most games set for release where moved on over to cart format. Also, it is not CDs that are put in the 64DD but rather carts that have more memory or something like that.
Mother...
