pac-man world 2. in the wake of them both getting remade i've decided to go finish the original pac-man world 1 and 2 because i had them as a kid but never made it anywhere in them, starting with world 2 because it made a bigger impression on me. the more i play it the more i see why i never made much progress. it is simply not a very good game. the early levels are fine, pretty good even, but they're a bit weird, repetitive and unpolished. once you hit the volcano the game steadily gets much much worse and it is pretty stark looking over at the remake to see it addresses basically everything i take issue with across the game. would not recommend going back to the original here.

Picked up DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing on Steam, it was on sale and it's not bad.

DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing is the worst kart racer I have ever played. The physics are nonsense. It was barely playable. However, you can be Alex The Lion.

been playing REPO with friends, one of them is REALLY into it so we play mostly for them lol, but it's a fun social game. Some of the monsters are total bull tho.

I've also been no-lifeing Guild Wars 2 recently. Game has really come into its own over the years and the horizontal progression seems really cool. Nearly everything you unlock is account-wide. The combat also feels pretty damn good compared to other MMOs

I AM excited for the WOW housing though. I'm new to it from the last expansion and I liked the delves and other stuff they added. I just can't afford a sub rn really. But housing looks SWEET.

Also got a couple hours in Hollow Knight now. Somehow I didn't reallize it had Dark Souls elements to the world-building and that has me pretty hooked so far. It took me nearly two hours to find the first boss however. Yes I am dumb.

honestly i find it fun, despite the fact its not very good at all.

I absolutely would try out WoW if it didn't do that subscription nonsense. And, I absolutely would buy more GW2 expansions if it would let me transfer my account to Steam. Ho hum...

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds is a lot of fun. I'm glad I can be Sage, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Hatsune Miku all in the same game.

I'm roughly an hour or more into Metroid Prime 4. I got about two minutes in and started laughing at how epic and over the top it starts, exactly the way it should be. I think they nailed it.

I'm mostly going in blind. I know about the bike. I hope there are a few more surprises still though. I'll never forget when I saw the Depths in TOTK, Nintendo never said a word about it in marketing.
