Which Rare game should you play first?

If you had no idea about any of the games that Rare has developed and you wanted to see if you liked their games or not, which one should you play first and why?

I haven't played many of them but I'd say Banjo-Kazooie because of its quirky nature which defines their games on the Nintendo 64 (from my knowledge). It's the sort of game that you'll be attached to forever because it's nothing you've ever played before and it's really fun despite the childish nature of the game. It leaves an everlasting first impression on you as a gamer I guess.

DKC1 and the DKC2 right after. Then Banjo and Banjo-Tooie.

Jet Force Gemini because that was the best game in the collection for me (not counting the Xbox games).

Kameo, Perfect Dark, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Conker's Bad Fur Day and Viva Piñata are masterpieces as well.

Banjo Kazooie, absolutely. Some of their games have...wonky controls, like JFG, so I definitely would say stay away from that if you want a good first impression.

If you like Nintendo prior to, I'd say the original Donkey Kong Country trilogy. Good start
If not, then Banjo-Kazooie. It's Rare incarnate

Donkey Kong Country 2 definitely. It's absolutely great and has aged exceptionally well.

Donkey Kong 64, I like the level designs and has a proper length to understand the quality and mood of the games made by Rare.
