One of the few Rare N64 titles I've yet to play. I have no interest at all in James Bond, but Rare never failed to make a great game.

I cannot bring myself to be excited to play a ROM of Goldeneye 007 on my Xbox. Maybe they'll do some of the Rare Replay tricks they did for Jet Force Gemini to make it a little more modern, but I'm not holding my breath.

Gave up in the second level. Died in the gas room first, then upon retrying the guy who you're supposed to meet with didn't spawn, then I accidentally crossed the end of level barrier which...instantly fails the mission with no warning, despite being able to go back?... Dumb game.

If there was only some way to tell what you're supposed to be doing in game it wouldn't be as annoying,
 . Wasting time restarting a level because you accidentally cross the final room, without knowing its the final room, is terrible game design, even for the 90s. At least have a "Are you finished?" text box or something so you can turn around and finish whatever you missed.
