I just found out that MAngband is back in active development and there's a new release coming on April 1st. Also OoT Randomizer now can randomize overworld entrances. I think I might have been playing Yakuza before, but I'm doing this now.

Has anyone ever played DragonHeart on the Game Boy? The whole presentation and gameplay POV is bonkers for a Game Boy game:

Disenfranchised by the modern video game landscape, I return to Game & Watch Gallery Advance. Rain Shower, Classic only.

Who wants to try co-op OoT? Or maybe even a co-op randomizer run?

I spent all day playing Ocarina of Time online with randoms. You know, the one I just mentioned two posts ago.
There was a group of players stuck at the Forest Temple, so I hijacked their lobby and made it into a randomizer game instead. It was pretty fun splitting up and coordinating where to search with everyone. I went adult Link early and started working on temples while the other players took care of the child Link stuff and planted some beans for me. But then somebody who was AFK from the previous vanilla game joined and mixed his save data with ours which ruined everything.

By the way, this is how you set up a lobby in case you want to try it:
Step 1: download the thing I linked
Step 2: put your 1.0 Zeld rom inside the folder called "rom". It's the one that says "rom" on it and has a readme inside which says "put the rom here"
Step 3: run OoTmodloadergui.exe and make sure you give it full network permissions when your OS asks for them
Step 4: enter the lobby name and password you like to use, and you're done! To join a lobby it works the same: just type the name and password then select join
IMPORTANT: Always make a new save when joining a game! Old save data will conflict with the flags of the current game in progress! You can safely reset and load your save file for a game you're still connected to, but whenever joining a new lobby make sure you're using a new save file.
As for using mods such as randomizer, I can't seem to figure out how to get the auto-download feature to work. I think it's just WIP. So if you want to play a romhack just make sure everyone has that rom in their rom folder instead of the vanilla 1.0 rom.

Playing through Morrowind for the first time seriously. Adapting pretty well to it overall, but goddamn is getting around this world a pain in the ass. Navigating around Vivec is absolute torture and I made the mistake of not choosing Mysticism as one of my major or minor skills, which I read I'll need if I want to use any of the good spells for getting around faster.

After I start getting bored with this one (I know damn well I'm not gonna be able to finish the main quest before then) I'll probably move on to finally playing the original Deux Ex.

My first ever internet friend described Deus Ex to me as "sex on a disc" some time before I got to play it, and I still stand by his description, even if no physical disc is any longer involved in running the game.

I agree. Day of Sex is 10/10. Make sure you don't forget to play it before you die.

Glad a couple of people have really solid WRs on what remain uploaded of my Mario Maker Levels. Less pleased one of my finest, "smb3 is the worst mario", was banned by Nintendo. Don't want the world knowing the truth, Nintendo?

I did another randomizer run of La-Mulana, but I'm thinking maybe I should consider trying a game that's actually new for once. What's this "Sekiro" all the kids are talking about? Is that a new video game?

I've been going at it hard with The Sims 4 for the past few days. It doesn't have as many features as 3 did (sadly) and I don't have much in the way of packs or anything. But it's still pretty fun and the emotions are kind of an interesting addition. I think it would be fun to document different families lives as they go on, and basically playing the game based on where each sim gravitates.
