What's the deal with the vehicles?
A lot of you guys out there really don't like the vehicles. IMO, the vehicles don't change a thing. It really annoyed me in the games that I couldn't do something until Bottles or Jamjars said it was ok. I really like the fact that you can customize the moves and transformations and the whole nine yards if you see fit. Besides, the platforming isn't gone, it's just...limited. Sure, I would make the platforming elements more expansive and less...limited, but I love the idea of fully customizable vehicles.

I think most people who are real Banjo fans (people on this forum) have accepted the vehicles, it's just some ignorant people on other sites that think they've "ruined Banjo". Yeah, the vehicles seem fun. Although I wish they could also do their moves from the first games.

Have you even seen how high the vehicles can jump? It's crazy high. You can pretty much do everything you could before, and more. Climb up walls, swim like a dolphin, launch yourself a mile up into the sky and even fly. Anyone saying this isn't a platform game clearly has their head up their ass. The videos clearly show footage of jumping and landing on different PLATFORMS. I mean c'mon. What else do you want? |

^I was talking about the "running" type of platforming, but you are absolutely correct. Thank you.

I accepted the vehicles from the start. Though I think it was pointless for them to regulate (would that be the correct word Bret?) the platforming, but it's not a bad thing. I think NaB will be the best. If not then we'll just have to suck it up.

I'll admit I was a bit torn when I saw the vehicles but I gave it a chance, and surely I grew to love them, now if only people didn't have their nostalgia stuck up their, well you know that word, they would give it a chance. If you think about it, I'm glad Rare took the risk to change the series, whether it'll be for better or worse has yet to be seen, but at least we won't be getting Banjo-Kazooie HD from eight years ago.

Well if we got rid of the people who whine over "they ruined it", then we wouldn't have this problem. We can start by killing them

You dont have to be an ignorant asshole to question the vehicles.
I really dont like the concept, just because the game went from fairytale wonders and magic, to technology and machinery. Im looking forward to the game, but i think it would of made an amazing game if it wasnt banjo kazooie. Just my opinion, i dont think they ruined it, but im not sure how ill react to it when i play it. i will probably love it anyway. |

It's far from limited since you have almost endless possibilities with the vehicles. But still, I'd prefer if it was 50% "normal" platforming and 50% vehicle platforming.
