Did you get the stand alone version? all you need to do is install it and it automatically makes a shortcut in the start menu Do you have a windows or a mac? there is no mac version, so i can't help you on that.

update! just replace files in RANAT folder (should be something like C:\program files\the ranat foundation) with these and it should update the game
to hardband: try opening up the folder and open the file "GDPlay.exe" there should be a dialog box that creates a shortcut on the desktop. make sure all fields are filled in
