Donkey Kong Country Added to Switch Online
The original Donkey Kong Country was added to Nintendo's online service recently. Is anyone here playing through it? Whether you're a newcomer to Donkey Kong Island or you've played it so much that you can defeat K. Rool while blindfolded, I'd like to hear about everyone's play throughs are goings. I'm absolutely bananas for the game and I'm glad it got rereleased.
I was thinking about how it has been 26 years since DKC came out. The original Donkey Kong came out in 1981, meaning DKC came out thirteen years later. More than twice that length of time has passed since DKC came out. I'm sure other people realized this earlier though. I'm still no good at barrel cannon segments.

I just found out that my Nintendo Online ran out today and hearing this is making me much more excited to get another year. Never had the chance to play through an entire Donkey Kong Country game and this feels like a great time to start!

DKC1 is pretty damn good, but the sequels are all much better. I wish Nintendo would promote those more.

makin my way through it now actually trying hard not to use the rewind and save state functions all I gota say is thank god for the 99 lives trick
