I got the true ending in Smash Bros. Ultimate's Adventure mode finally. I ended with 99.67% completion though, so I'm gonna have to jump back in there and finish the fight.

On the whole, I'd say World of Light is cool. It's basically the Events mode from previous games with a new skin. There were a lot of tough fights, but it feels rewarding to win.

Had fun beating newbies online with Piranha Plant last night in Smash. Glad I didn't do classic or All-Star, or I'd have lost my save file to corruption... He's definitely in my top 5 favourite to play so far, and it feels pretty odd liking so many heavy weight characters this game.

Oh, and Puff got some nice buffs (as did most of the cast). She can gimp some characters so easy.

Been playing Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends back to back and having a pretty darn good time. Also just a few minutes ago I did the thing in Apex so that's pretty fun. (I'm the lifeline)

I'm replaying Breath of the Wild, perhaps due to cultural influence by a certain internet celebrity. Doing a no climbing run this time, and I like the little extra touch of lateral thinking required when I come up against a wall and need to think of ways around it. I think the game is still very fun and it works well with self imposed challenges like this.

I've been playing Baba is You. It's this neat puzzle game where you manipulate the rules in order to complete the level. All the current game rules exist on the board as blocks you can push. So for example, there would be "WALL IS STOP", but if you push one of the words out of the way then you can walk through walls. You could also replace the BABA in "BABA IS YOU" and play as one of the objects in the level.

Tonight I played a bunch of "Beat Saber" and "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes" on my friend's PS VR. They're good.

I played VR on another friend's Vive a couple of years ago and had mixed opinions depending on the game. I liked these better overall I think, not really that it offers any direct statement about one set of hardware versus the other. The Vive felt more immersive as I recall though.

VR can do some fun stuff but I don't like the idea of it becoming the de facto standard for video games.
