No. You shouldn't have. Because you mentioned that, you will now be owned by Oil Ocean Zone.

I know this is off topic - but I have heard of some scrapped things from the Sonic series. Anyone care to share?

No. SNS is still discussed in frequent. There are obscure theories about it, collaborated projects regarding it, and numerous topics concerning it. So basically, it is in fact, NOT dead.

It SHOULD be dead. It should've died and burned at least three years ago. But it is not.

And that'll annoy me Icy, but not nearly as much as the Sandopolis zone...such tedium...

Bah The special stages in Sonic Triple Trouble were much worse, most of all the last one. Why Sega thought we could move that quickly in such an difficult and insanely designed level i'll never know.

Is that ignorance towards me? Or is that "No." directed towards somebody else?

It was toward the topic itself, not you. (And by the topic itself, I mean the topic itself, not Cyberen.)

Sonic CulT is, for the most part, the place to go for that. Simon Wai's Sonic 2 Beta is a good place to go for...well, I don't need to say.

You know, maybe Bolt's pessimism really was justified.

Hmmm well reading up on the subject, Q 27 of that brenda Ross interview shows this:

"Did the desert, winter, and woods zones have specific names?"
"Desert was dust hill. I don’t remember the rest."

Is the interview not credible or something? Fake perhaps?

To be honest, I find these discussions kind of fun. We're not going to find S'N'S, no, it's not there as we thought it might be. That's obvious. I mean, Rare resolved it in BT. But still, I'd love to find some beta remainders hinting at the various ways they were planning on porting data from game to game. Maybe some beta text, anything at all, really. It's just a bit of fun, don't take things too seriously.

I agree with Benjo Koolzooie...SNS may have died out, but I don't mind the topics about it. I'm just glad to see so much B-K conversation going around.

Oil Ocean rocked, but I still say that Casino Night was the best.

I believe that interview was conducted during a particularly "political B.S." time in the Sonic community, so whoever conducted the interview may have edited it to suit their own agenda. (Which, given the state of the community, could've very well happened.) Add that to the fact that some of the people who were interviewed had rusty memories, as well the fact that, before Brenda's interview, she was spam-bombed with e-mails asking about "Dust Hill," and you have something that isn't necessarily the definitive answer to the mystery of Dust Hill.

Well if there's any consellation to be taken from this, it's the fact that either way it doesn't look like there was any actual dust in the "Dust Hill Zone", or a hill either.

I never said the discussion was bad. It makes up 7/10ths of this specific forum. I'm just saying most discussion on it is redundant. Then again, so is most of the things people do for fun.
