Don't know if this has been answered but...
What was the purpose of the grille blocking the MMM / RBB portraits? Was it scenery or could it have been removed?
I played the game so much but I never remembered a way to remove the grille. |

I'm sorry, but I don't think I understand what you're talking about.... Could you be more specific? What grille?

You talk about the room where the portrait of MMM is ?
Is yes: You can remove it with Eggs or other attacks normaly but you can't when the it under water.

I know exactly what your talking about, yes you can remove it, in my experience the only way though is too break it when the water level is on 1, if its on 2 then I don't think you can open it.

I know exactly what and where you're speaking of. When you venture through the tunnel in the room that holds the Rusty Bucket Bay portrait, the water becomes higher and a grille blocks the way into the room where the Mad Monster Mansion portrait is. I've owned the game for seven years and never have I been able to remove it. If there is, then it's news to me.

I'm pretty sure it's for asthetic purposes. However, if there was a way to remove the grille, it would be very helpful.
