If Witchyworld was in BK, the ability to split into Banjo alone (or kazooie) would be in BK...unless Witchyworld was cancelled early in development...

No.... They just wouldn't have put the split pad in there.

Thats like saying that since flight pads existed existed in BK, and fungus forest was moved to DK64, DK64 must have flight pads.

I don't think they ever got far enough to actually start working on witchy-world. They probably only had it down in concept. Coolboyman said he heard somewhere that Rare mentioned the split up pads had been planned in BK. It was in one of the scribes or something, not sure which one.

Witchyworld was just an idea for a level in Banjo-Kazooie. It was never actually created. They didn't even decide where to put the entrance at that time. I've also heard from the Scribes or some other source that split-up pads were originally planned for Banjo-Kazooie.

That only leaves one question. If the split-up pads were in Witchyworld in Banjo-Tooie, the level was planned for Banjo-Kazooie, and then was cancelled, why wouldn't they place them in another level?

The two only removed world that go far away in the devloppement are Fungus forest and mount fire eye and maybe the mine.

The other was probably only ideas...

You're exactly right. The only levels that were actually made were Fungus Forest and Hammerhead Beach. I'm not sure about Mount Fire-Eyes. It could of been made and placed in the game, but we've never seen it. A lot of people think that the beta photos of the knocker doors were Mount Fire-Eyes, but I disagree.

For one thing, there is no fire, no lava, and no eyes (sorry, I had to throw that in there

). We've all reached the conclusion that those beta photos were depicting the Giant's Lair.

Even if they didn't finish WW, the spilt ut pads maybe were possible to use.
But a move can't just be supposed to be used in one level so ....
What if there was certain things you could do with the Split up pads in other levels ?
unfinished jiggy ?...

Unfortunately, I played Banjo-Tooie a year before Banjo-Kazooie. I already knew that Gobi was going to Hailfire Peaks when he announced the 'lava world' in Click Clock Wood. At that time, I never knew Mount Fire-Eyes existed, and I always thought lava world was referring to Hailfire Peaks.

No, I doubt the split up pads ever went beyond the planning phase, otherwise we'd of found remnants of it in the code of the game. All of these missing things never got passed the concept stage.

Yeah. I never heard anything about split up pads being in Banjo Kazooie. Is there any proof they even had this idea on board?

Not to mention if this were true, chances are that all the moves of each individual character (Or at least some) must have existed too / were planned.

It was mentioned in one of the scribes(according to Coolboyman and Silent Warrior), haven't actually seen it myself but I don't read scribes that often. I'll try looking for it later.
