I wasn't being sarcastic. Ghost has a little overlap by them often being mischievous or malicious and both Types have a dark color palette, but otherwise they're completely different. They did a great job distinguishing them as not the same.

I will use the first post in this thread of 2023 to reinforce my love for Castform.

Here is a good boi.

He has good move coverage type-wise, he just needed a Mega, or Gigantamax. He could have had a Wishiwashi situation where he joins up with all his molecule buggies to make him the biggest boi.

He also needs more forms for the other weather conditions. He has no ground sandstorm form, this is a crime.

Another crime is how he keeps getting cut with dexit

• Evolve Castform
• Get rid of Forecast ability
• Give him all 4 Weather-setting abilities and just have him change form with the weather innately without an ability (some mons already do this)
• Give all 4 forms different stat spreads that suit a certain playstyle
• Make the sandstorm form Rock instead of Ground so it can take advantage of the Sp. Def. boost

I would say also make it half Flying Type but my instinct tells me the additional weaknesses would cripple the poor thing
