I tried injecting Banjo-Kazooie into what's supposed to be the N64 VC game with the best version of the emulator, and it froze at the Classic Controller screen (which means the game is just not compatible). Each VC game has a different version of the N64 emulator, though, so there's still hope.
Before I try BK in all of the N64 games out, I want to know if this is completely safe. The WAD uninstaller removes all traces of the installed WAD, but it still shows in your play history on the Wii Message Board. I doubt Nintendo could look in your play history to find games you don't own (I'm only trying BK on them, but it looks like I'm playing the actual game), but I'm not sure. |

One can only assume how long until the lawsuits show up. You can bet that Nintendo won't be happy when they learn that there's a way to play VC games for free.
Also, two posts in a row contained the word "dude". I just want to bring that to attention.

There's an alpha that's been out since the beginning of this year. But, only Mario 64 is playable (but it isn't that great, yet).
Compatibility list (there's a few others floating about as well).

But I just wanted to say, the shop doesn't seem to think you bought it or let you download it again. So yeah.. ![]() I just really really had to mention that. I'm sorry. ^^; Last edited by cuber; 6th September 2008 at 11:22 PM. |
